Custom Wheel System

Another Carter business, ZZ Wheelz, was based on the invention of a superior wheel cover retention system. The company produced OEM wheel covers for Subaru and Chrysler and custom wheels for the aftermarket. During this time, Carter also designed wheels for American Racing Company. The patent was eventually sold to Durakon Industries.
